Job Summary:
Responsibilities for performing a variety of administrative duties for the HR Function. This role will act as the first point of contact for a variety of customers that contact the HR Office in person or by phone. Interprets and advises internal and external customers on programs, policies or rules. Resolve problems that have a significant impact on the overall goals of the department. May have contact with sensitive, complex and confidential information. May be responsible for managing calendars, appointments, chair events and meetings. Primary responsibilities will be as a receptionist for all functions within HR. This will include welcoming student, faculty, staff, and adjuncts new to UCO with their new hire paperwork, and directing inquiries for benefits, employee relations, payroll, or any other section within the HR function. Face to face and over the phone contact with students, staff, faculty, and adjuncts will be frequent.
