“Designing Incentive Compensation to Positively Impact Organizational Profitability and Productivity”
- Description: Effective incentive compensation design can play a major role in motivating employees and driving company performance when plans are designed with the employee and company in mind. Participants in this session will learn the fundamentals of incentive compensation design and how incentive compensation can positively impact the organization’s profitability and productivity. Participants, will gain an understanding of the impact of incentive compensation on employee motivation and performance. In addition, participants will leave with proven examples for designing incentive plans that are aligned with your organization, adapting market best practices, ideas for communicating, and suggestions for conducting in-depth quantitative analysis.
- Review the different types of incentive compensation programs
- Discuss how to design, implement and communicate incentive compensation programs
- Learn how to evaluate the success of your program and the company’s return on investment (ROI)
Malika Terry, MBA, CCP is a seasoned total rewards professional with over 19 years of experience in the human resources field. Throughout her career, Malika has worked for both midsized and large scaled companies, driving innovative total rewards programs that attract and retain high quality talent and is currently leading Global Executive Rewards strategy for UPS. She received her master’s degree in Business Administration with a major in International Business from Mercer University and her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from The University of Georgia. She is a Certified Compensation Professional and an active member of several Professional Organizations such as WorldatWork, the Society of Human Resources (SHRM), SHRM-Atlanta, the Atlanta Area of Compensation Association (AACA), and the Southeast Benefits Education Network (SBEN).
